Seat Byeol Choi "Seabee"
Born in Busan, South Korea in 1996, Seat Byeol Choi, received early instruction when she was 3 years old in Vladivostok, Russia where she moved with her parents. When only six years old, she won the Regional Far East International Violin Competition in Vladivostok.
At the age of 9, she entered the Central Music Academy of the Moscow Conservatory. She studied under Eduard Grach until second course of Tchaikovsky State Conservatory before moving to the Geneva, to Haute École de Musique de Geneva-Neuchâtel in 2017, where she currently studies with Sergey Ostrovsky.
She subsequently won the 2007 Magico Violin International Competition in Portogruaro, Italy. First Prize at the International Music Competition in Astana, Kazahstan, Yakutsk, Russia. Kloster Shontal in Germany where she received EMCY prize (concert in Europe) as the excellent performance at the International competition. 2019 Second Prize in Concours d'interprétation musicale de Lausanne.
Seat Byeol made her solo debut when she was 8 years old at Vladivostok`s Grand Hall in 2006 and then she has a lot of performances in various concert halls and countries as a soloist and with chamber recitals and symphonic concerts as at the Vienna Conservatory Hall, Tel Aviv Opera Hall, Tchaikovsky Hall, Grand Hall in Moscow, London, and Holland, Geneva, Germany, Poland.
